UPS Capital Corporation, its subsidiaries and their respective branches, UPS Capital Canada Insurance Brokers, Limited, UPS Capital Versicherungsvermittlung GmbH, its branches, UPS Capital Insurance Agency Limited, and UPSC (Thailand) Limited (each, a “UPS Capital Company” and collectively, the “UPS Capital Companies”) are affiliates of UPS.
Personal information may be maintained and processed by UPS, the UPS Capital Companies and our third-party service providers in the U.S. and other foreign jurisdictions and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to a lawful access request by U.S. or foreign courts or government authorities. For more information about our privacy practices; to access, update or correct inaccuracies in your personal information; or if you have a question or complaint about the manner in which we or our service providers treat your personal information, please submit a request using the contact details in the “How to Contact Us” section of the UPS Privacy Notice.
The UPS Privacy Notice contains a description of practices regarding the treatment of personal information that is common to all UPS companies and business units adhering to the UPS Privacy Notice in their handling of the personal information that UPS companies collect from consumers. Insurance services are not offered in all jurisdictions.
The UPS Capital Companies observe the UPS Privacy Notice, with the following modifications:

We may obtain consumer personal information (such as name, contact details and payment information) in connection with various activities such as:
- use of the UPS websites and applications
- shipping activities, including delivery and pickup of shipments
- requests to track shipments or answer questions
- events in which we participate

How We Use The Information We Obtain
In addition to the purposes listed in the UPS Privacy Notice, we use personal information for shipper’s agent, claims administration, claims adjustment, and insurance and other risk mitigation services (including application processing, underwriting, and account management activities), as applicable. We may also use data from advertising technologies (pixels, ad tags, cookies and device identifiers) and your name, title, company, industry and contact information to provide tailored ads both on our websites and on social media platforms. You may opt-out of tailored ads on social media platforms using the settings on those platforms. You can opt-out of tailored advertising on third party sites by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.

Insurance coverage is underwritten by a Canadian licensed insurance company and issued through UPS Capital Canada Insurance Brokers, Limited (“UPS Capital Insurance Brokers”) – an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of UPS Capital Corporation (“UPS Capital”). The insurance company and UPS Capital Insurance Brokers reserve the right to change or cancel the program at any time. Insurance coverage is governed by the terms and conditions, including the limitations and exclusions, set forth in the applicable insurance policy (the “Policy”). This information does not in any way alter or amend the terms or conditions, including the limitations or exclusions, of the Policy, and is intended only as a brief summary. Insurance coverage is not available in all jurisdictions. UPS Capital Insurance Brokers only issues policies of a single insurer in Canada, and receives commission on sales of insurance. An affiliate of UPS Capital Insurance Brokers reinsures a material portion of the risk insured by this insurance policy and the UPS Capital group therefore has a financial interest in the insurance program. You are not required to purchase insurance from UPS Capital Insurance Brokers and have the right to seek insurance elsewhere. In particular, your ability to ship using United Parcel Service Canada Ltd. or its affiliates is not conditional on your purchase of insurance from UPS Capital Insurance Brokers.
